Frequently asked questions

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, we accept walk-ins, but these vary based on artist availability for the day. The best way to check openings would be to call the shop at (850) 710-0247 or message us on social media. We ask that you inquire the day you're able to come in as we don't know walk-in time for future days. Walk-in availability is completely dependent on chance as we are typically appointment-only.

Can I get an estimate for a tattoo?

Estimates are provided only by the artist either during a scheduled consultation or by contacting them directly. Every artist has an hourly rate of $150 with a shop minimum of $75.

How do I schedule an appointment?

If you don't already have an artist in mind for your piece, we recommend checking out everyone's portfolio to see who matches the style and design you're wanting. If you need additional assistance, you can provide the following info to our email threefatesgallery@gmail.com: the style you want, the size/placement, if you want color or black and gray, and any inspiration or reference photos. After receiving these, we will see if we have an artist for you. Every artist stays booked at least one month in advance. Depending on the artist, they may be booked several months out, so we recommend planning in advance when scheduling.

Why have I not heard back from an artist yet?

Due to a high volume of emails and messages, we please ask for your patience when awaiting a response from our artists. As long as you've reached out through the appropriate method of booking, they will respond when they can! If you're unsure on how to book with a specific artist, feel free to send an inquiry to our email threefatesgallery@gmail.com.

Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?

Appointments are a way to reserve a day and time with an artist. These are typically for larger or more detailed pieces that would take longer than an hour to do. Walk-ins would be for small (less than palm-size) or simple designs that any artist could do if they had free time between appointments. These include any text/word only designs.

How do I book with...?

All of our artists handle their own bookings, so you must contact them directly to get scheduled. When an artist's books are open, this means that they are currently accepting new clients for appointments. When an artist's books are closed, this means they are not currently accepting new clients and will not be responding to inquiries for appointments. Refer to each artists' Instagrams to check for the status of their books. Here is how to contact our artists:

In all inquiries, please give a detailed description of the tattoo you are wanting and be sure it best fits your chosen artist and their personal style. Info to include is: your tattoo idea, size, placement, if you want color or black and gray, and any reference or inspiration photos.

Do you tattoo minors?

No, we do not tattoo minors, even with parental consent. You must be 18 or older.

Do I have to wear a mask in the studio?

Yes, everyone must wear a mask while inside the studio, regardless of vaccination status. We do not provide masks to those without one.
